Yanbo Zhang (张延博)
About Me
I am currently a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Prior to this, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). I also worked as an AIoT Scientist and Co-Founder at Better IoT Solutions Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), a startup focused on intelligent IoT solutions. I received my Ph.D. in 2023 from the College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS), NTU, under the supervision of Professor Mo Li. Earlier, I earned my B.E. degree in 2017 from the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). For more details, please refer to my CV.
My research centers on scene-adaptive intelligent wireless sensing and IoT systems. I develop methods that bridge electromagnetic propagation physics with deep learning to enable robust and generalizable sensing across diverse environments and tasks. I also investigate IoT networking and physical-layer enhancement, focusing on reliable data transmission and link quality optimization for heterogeneous wireless networks.
